Monsters' Ramble

Installation 2019 

 

The theme for Antropical residency, based in Steinfort, Luxembourg was Play Until United. Fraser built a monster installation in collaboration with artist Alessandro Marchi for Kolla festival. The monster cubes were built entirely from recycled and borrowed materials; no money was spent. The two cubes were connected with sound-pipes providing a communication system for those playing in the monsters. Guests of the monsters could talk to those in the other cube, approximately 70 metres away, as well as with other sites in the festival. Giulio Del Lago contributed a monster steel percussion instrument to the installation.
